The Carlton Moor Gliding Club is based on the North Yorkshire Moors above the village of Carlton, near Stokesley, not easy to find but we can supply directions.
Like all similar flying clubs we are regulated by the British Gliding Association (BGA) and our instructors are both trained and authorised by them.
We are a small but very friendly club, and you can find us flying almost every weekend . The site is very basic, but we do have shelter from the elements which can be bleak in the winter. When the weather is good however the site provides good flying and excellent views of the moors and surrounding area.
